A few more scrapbook pages

A few more pages from this past year! Did I tell you that I am going to concentrate on the everyday occurences in life? Like the piles of laundry and shoes by the front door? Birthdays and Christmases are fine but the meat and potatoes of life is the day to day. I will be posting pages on our favorite snacks and games, and of course the thing I hate the most....laundry!

Redorating Mess!

SO busy! My hubby and I decided to take our old bar down in our basement. I have a son with quite a collection of LEGOS and needed the space! What a job! Lots of wood and nails, it makes you realize how well things were built back in the day! We got it done, but what a mess! We also discovered some type of old water softener under the bar. Apparently people in the 50's didn't get the good Chicago water, so this is what they used. It goes about 3 feet down into my concrete. So I think we will need to build something over it to desquise it! Well back to work!

Various scrapbook pages

I am sitting here thinking of all the scrapbooking I've done over the years. Here is a sampling of some of the latest pages.

Thursday Morning

Wow! What a storm we had here in Chicago! The wind was unbelievable! I'm not a big fan of storms, they make me nervous! Anyway, tried scrapbooking about my Grandma last night. She will be 87 this year and has Alzheimers. The pictures I am scrappin are not that great so I am struggling with the page a bit. I will hopefully post it later today. Using Basic Grey's new line called Phoebe. Love this line! My hubby is asleep so I snuck into the scrappin room and finished this layout. I'm still not crazy about these pictures but I wanted to scrapbook them. My journaling expresses my feelings for my Grandmother and all the good times we had growing up. It is so sad to see her deteriorate mentally and physically. :(
