Treehouse's Newest Releases!

This Friday, Ashley and Kristin from Treehouse Stamps, are releasing a few new sets! The first 20 people who order get a free ladybug stamp! (See last card!) These first two cards are from the same set. It includes all things baking! They are just the sweetest images! For the first card I used Doodlebug paper. I did some sewing, and used my Copics for the Cake. I "sugared" the top of the cake with some glitter. I added some teeny buttons and ribbon.
For some reason this picture came out terrible! Everything looks washed out. I colored the lollipops with my Copics and sugared those too! I cut them out and added them to some sweet looking KI paper. (Yes, pretty old stuff! But it screamed candy shop to me!)

I actually made this card using Beate's sketch from a few weeks ago. I used Memory Box paper, and stitched each piece. The Ladybug was colored in using my Prismas. I put a little Prima flower in her hand. I added some vintage lace and a few buttons. Who knew that a ladybug could be vintage?
Hope everyone has a fantastic weekend! I am off with some neighbors to see the new Dr. Seuss movie!

Another Treehouse Card

This is another stamp by Treehouse Stamps. This single stamp is called Orchid Elegance. I pulled out my dusty Twinkling H2O's and watercolored! I cut the image out using my teeny tiny scissors from TAC. I wanted the card to have an elegant feel to it, so I pulled out the vellum and did a little embossing.....using my Score-Pal! I added some rhinestones and ribbon. I didn't have a stamp small enough for the word, mom. So I decided to use my own writing! My hubby looked at my card and says, "It's great......except, what is up with the word mom? Did you write that?"
What do husbands know anyway! : )

Hey, could all of you do me a favor for this extremely anal retentive girl over here in gloomy Chicago? My comments have been waaaaaaaay down, and of course I get myself all crazy about it! (I'm a bit nutty that way!) If you are visiting, could you leave a comment? It would really make my day!

Sneak Peek at Treehouse's Newest Stamps!

This is a sneak peek at what is coming out at Treehouse Stamps this Friday! I colored this cute image in with my Copics. I added crystal lacquer to vase. (Which doesn't really show up in the picture!) I used my Nestibilities for the ovals. The paper is by Memory Box. I added a few Dew Drops to the lower right hand corner. My Step-mom had surgery last week, so I sent this card to her a few days ago!

Sewing Kit, Crafty Secret's Style!

I found these tiny sewing kits at a dime store near my house. I knew I had to pick a few up and alter them! The original top (Guess I should have taken a "before" pic!) had a landscape scene. I popped off that metal scene and covered it with SU! paper. I inked around the edges. I used Crafty Secret's Sew Special set for the spools of thread and zig zag stitch. I found these cute little buttons and gold scissors at the same dime store. It was a quick little project! Now I can throw this in my purse and never worry about losing a button again!

Hope everyone is having a great day!

Sketch Challenge

I created this card for the Crafty Secret's sketch challenge at SCS. I stamped the Fairies in Versamark and embossed. I brayered over the image with Tempting Turquoise and Night of Navy. The paper is by SU! and the Earthy paper pad. I stamped the stars, embossed, and brayered. I added hardware and ribbon to the stars.

I am on spring break this week with the kids, so I actually had a few spare moments this morning to make some cards! Yea! Hope all of you are having a good day! : )

Crafty Secret's Frame

I altered this frame using the Crafty Secret's Sew Special set and Earthy Paper pads set. The images were colored in with Prismas and Copics. I used SU! ink. The flowers were cut with my Sizzix machine using vellum. I added some buttons and vintage ribbon. I also added hardware and printed us girls on the computer. I stamped the garter clips at the top, in brown ink, cut them out, and threaded ribbon through them. The picture is my mom, grandma (who is 88), my sister, and me!

Last Easter Card!

Hope everyone had a wonderful Easter! Our company just left and I thought I would post the last of my Easter cards! The image is by High Hope's Stamps. I colored this cute bunny in with my Copics. I stamped the carrots, colored them, cut them out, and popped them out using pop dots. The paper is by Memory Box. The sentiment is by Stampendous. Well, just a quick post, cuz I need to go clean up my kitchen and start settling down for the night!
