This contest is sponsored by Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L®. Product was
supplied to me in return for blog posts and promotion.

My daughter just had her prom this past May and I wanted to create a scrapbook for her.  Donna's denim art journal was perfect! I added lots of lace and texture ribbon for a feminine look. I also scattered stars across the album using Donna's E-Z Stars Runner tape.  I sprinkled a bit of silver embossing powder on them.  My flowers and butterflies were adhered using DODZ™ - Small
I continued the theme of the butterflies, stars, lace, and sequins.  I used the star runner here and there and rubbed Donna's pink pigment powder on them.  The lace is so pretty, I couldn't help but use it again.

And my trusty DODZ™ - Medium were put to good use when adhering my embellishments.  :)  I used the E-Z Squares® Refillable Dispenser
to adhere the photos, tag, and strips of stars.

Burlap and Lace

Good morning!
I am off to school today to start getting my room ready.  I know I say this every year, but I can't believe how fast the summer went!
I still have a couple of weeks that I am going to savor!
I am up on the SRM Blog today with some dressed up burlap bags.

The bags are so deliciously vintage.
I added a flower from Spellbinders called, Blooms One and leaves cut using Spellbinder's Sprig die.

I also added satin ribbon tied with a soft pink thread.  The SRM sentiment from Stickers by the Dozen, was the final touch.
I thought these bags would be a perfect way to present a Pandora charm.

Thank you all for stopping by today!
I appreciate your spending a bit of time with me!

Crafty Secret's Design Team Challenge and Linky Party!

Good morning!  It is the start of a new month and that means it is also time for the Crafty Secret's Challenge and linky party! This month's theme is to create an altered project or home decor piece.
While cleaning my craft room, I found these cutie pie bottles.

I thought they would be super cute as a teacher gift filled with candy.
They were easy to make and really didn't take a whole heck of a lot of time!

So here is the scoop on how they were created.
I printed papers from the Crafty Secret's Sewing Paper collection.  I cut them into one inch strips.
I printed flowers from the Sewing Images and Ephemera collection. They were printed at one inch.
I wanted to "frost" the bottoms of the bottles with glitter.  I "painted" on the glitter using glossy accents and sprinkling it with Tim Holtz Distress glitter.

I then wrapped the paper around the bottle, added a bit of glue, and secured in place.

I cut my flower, inked the edges, tied some lace, and die cut a few leaves using a Spellbinder die.
They were adhered to the bottle.
Here is one last look at the finished product. :)
